Locutus says: "Dave I still see you're spewing BS on the Internet after all this time. As Kyle dutifully pointed out, you haven't a clue what you're talking about as per usual. I'm surprised you're still not coining non-words like "dischistianatio n" (and the accompanying plagiarism) or whining around about April Fool's jokes. ;)"

dntc0x says: "kyle, evidently you haven't bothered to find out what the FCC and Obama are really up to. His "FCC Czar", Mark Lloyd, is working to re-institute the 'fairness doctrine' in radio, tv, and to also expand it to the internet. FCC Chairman Genachowski has announced his intention to "reclassify broadband Internet as an old-fashioned telephone system as a pretext for pervasive regulatory control." Put simply, the government will dictate what happens on the internet. That's unconstitutiona l, because the FCC is taking actions that are clearly under the purview of the legislative branch. kyle, you need to pay attention to what Obama and his cronies are doing, instead of what they are saying. If this goes unchallenged, then internet and other media providers will be required... UNDER PENALTY OF LAW... to "balance" the information of conservative programs or websites with the 'spin and propaganda' of the Obama Administration. If an internet, tv, or radio program/service doesn't satisfy Obama's ideals of 'diversity', then they will simply regulate or tax it out of existence or deny it access to 'FCC regulated services'. In other words, our internet, tv, radio, etc. will be controlled by the government, just like in China, Russia, or other dictatorships! This 'FCC regulation' will allow the executive branch to effectively bypass the legislative branch in instituting taxes & fees on internet services. Oh, by the way, I won't call you retarded simply because you are uninformed. However, I will say that your 'knee-jerk' comment does say a lot about you!"

kyle says: "Are you retarded? Net Neutrality is about keeping an ISP (Internet service provider) from censoring websites or throttling your connection for whatever reason they want! Learn about things before you blindly and ignorantly report on S**t you have no understanding of!"

I have been using the Magic Jack for over a year and agree about the dropped calls, but having worked that out, I have been pleased, because I used the Magic Jack for calls that I know could put on hold for extended periods. However, I have been using a cordless phone with mind and haven't had any problems."

The Tebow Commercial Controversy

editor says: "The origin of the word 'Cannibal' This practice has its roots in a prime function of all priests of Baal. Keep in mind that the Hebrew word for priest is Cahn, our modern name Cohen or Kahn is a derivation of that ancient word. Consider the following quote from The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop, page 232: “And it was a principle of the Mosaic law, a principle no doubt derived from the patriarchal faith, that the priest must partake of whatever was offered as a sin-offering (Numbers xviii. 9, 10). Hence, the priests... were necessarily required to eat of the human sacrifices; and thus it has come to pass that ‘Cahna-Bal,’ the ‘Priest of Baal,’ is the established word in our own tongue for a devourer of human flesh.”"

Joanne says: "cannibal 1553, from Sp. canibal "a savage, cannibal," from Caniba, Christopher Columbus' rendition of the Caribs' name for themselves, Galibi "brave men." The natives were believed to be anthropophagite s. Columbus, seeking evidence that he was in Asia, thought the name meant the natives were subjects of the Great Khan. Shakespeare's Caliban (in "The Tempest") is a version of this word, with -n- and -l- interchanged, found in Hakluyt's "Voyages" (1599). Cannibalize of machinery, etc., first recorded 1943, reflecting war-time shortages. Online Etymology Dictionary, © 2001 Douglas Harper"

Ridge Keeper says: "It is all about the money. Follow the grants to area non-profits and so called environmental groups that stand to gain from commercial wind. If commercial wind power is so great it would not need the massive subsidies offered by the government. We would not be commenting here, either. Look at Appalachian Voices. Austin Hall of their group stood up and called people against commercial wind "NIMBYS" at a recent meeting. Appalachian State shows up in your area because they have a whole department that stands to gain from commercial wind. The worst part is that the people can not find the truth. It is hidden by the wind industry. They do not want you to hear the truth. And all I can say is GOD HELP the people that have signed leases where there is a confidentiality clause. In other words when all goes wrong...you are required to SHUT UP and not mention a thing. And when you do something on your land that makes the people sick on the land around you, be prepared to be SUED."
